To complete the history project, one group member will need a free account with wikispaces, and then request to become a member to this wiki-page. Follow the sign up procedure.
Having membership, your group will be able to log in and edit the website where you will post your work as part of this project.
Once established, all edits and viewings of this webpage are logged in my teacher's account. Any suspicious edits (deleting a peer's material, even changing text color) is easily detected, traced and unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated.
STEP TWO
We will begin learning how to use the website building tools next class. Today is a day to find online primary source materials.
Your homework for today was to use the textbook to take note of anything important that fits into one of the following 5 categories.
Technology (especially Nuclear & Information Technology)
Culture
Cold War
Civil Rights Movements
Economic
Today's assignment is to find at least one primary document that fits each category as well. I recommend the following two websites as your first search:
KEEP IN MIND - this project will require that you use MLA format. You received a handout today in class, but if you need more support I recommend you use The Owl at Purdue.
Write your own summary of the primary document. In your summary you should identify the author, the intended audience, title of document or artifact, date, and summarize the message of the document or artifact.
